Breed Education

Dave and Liette held an Education booth at the London Pet Expo in December 2002. Booth included a display board with pictures and captions that answered the most commonly asked questions about Weims - here are some of the handouts that were available:

Organizers held a "Parade of Breeds" several times during the day. The MC made excellent comments about the origin of the breed and what they are like to live with as well as pointing out their intelligence, high-energy levels and challenging personalities.

The best ambassador was "Merlin" owned by Anne Sinclair-Puchtinger.  Merlin paraded around the ring in true show fashion then showed the crowd his tricks which included his famous "Crossed-Paw Down" and "High Five".  He was quite a hit and made his owner Anne very proud!

All in all, both the dogs and humans had fun interacting and answering questions,
assisting potential dog owners with their choice of breed.

Thank you to our WAC organizers and volunteers
